Daisy Edgar-Jones has been playing "so many video games" in preparation for shooting Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.

The 28-year-old actress will begin filming the movie adaptation for Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, Gabrielle Zevin's 2022 novel that follows two friends who create a successful video game company together, in January, and Daisy has revealed how she's been preparing for the role.

The brunette beauty - who previously starred in the hit TV show Normal People - told Bustle: "I get to play so many video games to prep for this job.

"The script is so beautiful, and it's a big book to adapt. It spans 30 years, and there's so much that happens. But what I love about it is it's exploring the romantic relationship in our life that is platonic.

"It's about this friendship, this complicated friendship, and the pain of artistic collaboration and how is there any intimacy more extreme than creating something together like a game? But also how painful it can be to have that kind of dynamic with somebody. And I just love the character of Sadie."

Daisy explained that she can really "relate" to her on-screen character.

The actress said: "I think that I really relate to her. In the time of the book, in the '90s, she's working in a very male dominated arena, creating these big worlds."

Meanwhile, Daisy previously revealed that she felt "lonely" amid her rise to stardom.

The actress shot to fame as Marianne in Normal People - but she recalled feeling isolated at the time, as she became distant from her own friends because of her busy schedule.

Daisy - who starred alongside Paul Mescal in the hit TV series - explained: "As much as I loved and am grateful for a year of consistent work, there were times when I was lonely.

"Really missed my friends. I just haven't seen them. I was away for something like ten and a half months out of the 12. And that little bit of time I was home, I was jet-lagged. Bad company."
