Danny Cipriani and AnnaLynne McCord are engaged after a tumultuous on-and-off romance.

The 38-year-old former rugby union player popped the question with a gold ring that featured a 15-carat, emerald-cut diamond as well as seven small diamonds in the band, on Christmas Day (25.12.25) at the 90210 actress' home in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends.

And AnnaLynne, 38, burst into tears for "10 minutes" before she eventually said "yes".

She recalled to People: "I cried for 10 minutes straight. At some point, I realised I had to answer. I said, 'Yes, but I can't even speak,' and he replied, 'That's OK, it's actually a good sign that you are quiet for once.'

"Then, we're all laughing."

The blonde beauty - who, in a picture obtained by the outlet, looked overwhelmed as she knelt on the floor surrounded by rose petals while Danny asked her the question - thought about proposing, but the sportsman and her sisters, actress' Rachel McCord, 36, and Angel McCord, 40, changed her mind.

AnnaLynne said: "It occurred to me that I should just propose to him, and I told my sisters. Both really questioned this choice, and they strongly discouraged it.

"I decided to tell him that was my plan, but then the look on his face convinced me not to, and he fessed up and told me he had plans to propose to me on our upcoming trip to Cambodia."

In the run-up to the getaway, the Days of Our Lives alum noticed that Danny and Rachel were "whispering" about something, before the pair claimed they were taking AnnaLynne's nephew to the cinema, and told her to get glammed up to join them.

AnnaLynne shared: "I said, 'No, I'm not getting dolled up just to go to a movie,' but my sisters insisted.

"Suddenly, they are rushing me and announcing they are leaving. I come downstairs, and there are rose petals everywhere and a rose petal heart. Danny, down on one knee with a ring, waiting for me to step into the heart."

Following the proposal - organised so that AnnaLynne's pals could watch the moment over an online Zoom call - the couple's celebrations continued during their trip to Cambodia and then India.

AnnaLynne and Danny met on the celebrity dating app, Raya, around a decade ago.

They had an on-and-off relationship for many years, and they split in 2020.

Danny married model Victoria Cipriani, 44, in April 2021, but they split in November 2023.

The sports star then got back with AnnaLynne before they ended their romance in February 2024.

She said: "We met 10 years ago but were on and off for a good four years, and in an open relationship, because he was playing rugby overseas and I was filming in Los Angeles.

"We separated in 2020 and then found each other again in February of 2024."

However, they broke up again in January the following year, but in July 2025, Danny confirmed that he and his "crazy girl" AnnaLynne rekindled their romance as he gushed over her in a sweet birthday tribute shared to Instagram.

And the pair are happier than ever.

The Scorned actress said: "When I look at Danny, he's home to me.

"I think he is a home that I never knew I needed and that I didn't feel I deserved. The Cancer, sappy side of me is like, 'Oh my God, I get to love him!' Just like the song by Ruelle, I Get to Love You - which I will walk down the aisle to!

"I get to love him! It's the best thing that I'll ever do. And there's the other side of me, the overachiever, Type A personality that says, 'I was right! I win! Yes!' Because I called this 10 years ago.

"I knew we were soulmates, I knew we were meant to be together. I was so sure, and I was not wrong."
