Sean 'Diddy' Combs and son Justin accused of 'brutal gang-rape' in new lawsuit

A new lawsuit accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs and his 31-year-old son Justin of engineering the “brutal gang-rape” of an unidentified woman in 2017.

The father and son, as well as Diddy’s businesses, are being sued for sexual assault and battery, gender violence and negligent supervision, according to court documents filed this week in Los Angeles and obtained by NBC News.

The lawsuit says the woman, identified only as Jane Doe, began messaging Justin on Snapchat, where they discussed her desire for a career in entertainment and shared explicit photos.

Not long after, the woman claims Justin lured her from New Orleans to Los Angeles under the guise of helping her get a job in TV, but instead she was “held prisoner for a weekend.” She was allegedly plied with drugs and alcohol before three men wearing “masquerade masks” — one she identified as Diddy and two she didn’t recognize — showed up at the house where they were staying.

According to the lawsuit, Jane was then taken to a bedroom where she was told, “You better let this happen. Or else.” Over the course of the next day, she claims Diddy, Justin and the two other men took turns raping her while she was “drugged and incapacitated.”

Along with accusing the Combs men of sexual battery and assault, the complaint states that Combs’ businesses knowingly enabled the rape with the false promise of a job and “did nothing to stop” the alleged conduct.

The woman, who says she suffered severe emotional distress, physical injury and anxiety as a result of the incident, is demanding a jury trial and seeking damages for “future and past lost earnings.”

The New York Daily News has reached out to Sean Combs’ lawyers for comment.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,” a legal representative told Us Weekly in a statement Friday, referring to the breadth of people who have accused the rapper of similar misdeeds in dozens of lawsuits.

The latest complaint comes as Sean Combs’ lawyers delivered closing arguments on Friday in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial. The 55-year-old Harlem native has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him, and faces life in prison if convicted.

While wrapping up their case, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo told a Manhattan jury that while the disgraced music mogul was certainly guilty of domestic violence, he wasn’t charged with that offense and should therefore not be targeted for a consensual “swingers’ lifestyle.”

In November 2023, Diddy’s ex Cassie Ventura filed a blockbuster lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and yearslong abuse. She, along with another ex identified only as Jane, served as star witnesses in the trial, where they testified about being threatened and coerced into participating in the dayslong, drug-fueled sex sessions known as “freak-offs.”
